Ambulance driver booked for drunk driving in Hyderabad

An ambulance driver was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol at Himayatnagar on Sunday afternoon.

Anjaneyulu (24) who drives a private ambulance was driving the vehicle in drunk state, said police. However, there was no patient in the vehicle when he was caught.

According to the traffic CI Subbaiah Pasupuleti, the driver refused to undergo breath analyser test. Later, he was subjected to the test and found his Blood Alcohol Concentration Level was 154 mg/dl.

The police booked a case against him and seized the vehicle.
