70-year-old woman sexually assaulted in Hyderabad, dies

A 70-year-old woman died after being sexually assaulted here at Puranapul under Kulsumpura police station limits.

Getting into details, the woman was residing with her mentally abled son near a temple at Puranapul. On Friday night, the woman's son noticed her in unconscious state and alerted the locals and policemen.

The Kulsumpura police with clues team rushed to the spot and collected the details. They looked into the CCTV footage of the temple which showed a man in an inebriated entering into her house.

The post-mortem report said that the woman was sexually assaulted and dead after the incident. The police registered a case and are investigating.
