6 persons seriously injured in Jeedimetla boiler blast

Hyderabad: In a tragic fire accident triggered by the boiler blast, six persons were seriously injured in Jeedimetla Industrial Area on Monday. The mishap occurred in Jai Raj Ispat Limited, a steel manufacturing company.

According to Jeedimetla police, suddenly a blast occurred in the company due to which the workers of the factory ran away from the company to save their lives.

Consequently, six persons namely Bisweswardev, Mukesh, Mahanayak, Kamlesh Mishra, Mahavendram and Suresh Singh belonging to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were seriously injured.

On hearing the deafening sound locals rushed to the spot to rescue the injured. Later they informed the police and fire department officials. Police rushed to the spot and monitored rescue operations.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot and battled for hours to douse the fire.olice shifted four injured workers to a private hospital in Shapurnagar for treatment.

They shifted two seriously injured persons who sustained 60 percent burns to a hospital in Kanchanbagh for emergency treatment.

Doctors said the two injured persons are under observation. Locals alleged that due to the negligence of the company management the accident occurred.

They further alleged that previously also this sort of accidents occurred due to which the locals are living in a state of fear and scare. Police registered a case and are investigating.
