44 gates of Jurala project lifted

Due to heavy inflow from the upstream, around 44 gates of Jurala project have been lifted on Saturday.

Currently, the inflow of the project is 5.85 lakh cusecs and the outflow is 5.87 lakh cusecs. The project received 317.20 tmc as against the total 318.516 tmc. The project currently has 7.097 tmc of floodwater.

On Sunday, the project got inflows of 8.69 lakh cusecs at 9 pm and the outflow was over 8.52 lakh cusecs. The project had got the highest inflows of over 10.37 lakh cusecs of inflows and 10.2 lakh cusecs of outflows on October 3, 20019.
