4 die in different incidents in Kothagudem

Kothagudem: Four persons died in different incidents in Kothagudem district on Sunday. In an incident at Indira Colony of Paloncha, a married woman Ambala Keerthana (24) was allegedly killed by her husband Ravi, according to the family members of the woman.

It was said that the couple got married six years ago and there have been quarrels between them for the past some period as Ravi got addicted to alcohol. During a quarrel on Sunday in a fit of rage Ravi beaten Keerthana with a pestle causing serious head injury and she died on the spot.

Soon after the incident, Ravi left home and his motor bike was found abandoned on Godavari bridge at Bhadrachalam. It was suspected that he might have ended his life by jumping into the river.

In another incident at PV Colony of Manugur, a 27-year old driver Pasi Laxman allegedly hanged himself on a hillock near the colony. His family members complained that his former employee was harassing him to pay money as compensation to an accident.

At Aswaraopet, Kakarla Rammohan (35) ended his life by hanging at his house. Family disputes were said to be the reason for his extreme step.

In a hit and run case, a 60-year- old man Yakobu of Tekulapalli of Chandrugonda mandal died at Tippanapalli of Penuballi mandal in Khammam district.
