3 more arrested in Hyderabad kidnap case: Anjani Kumar
Hyderabad kidnap case: Three more people have been arrested in the kidnap of three persons from Bowenpally. They were identified as Mallikarjun Reddy, Sampath Kumar and Akhila Priya's PA Bala Chennaiah. The police found that the Akhila Priya and the kidnappers used temporary mobile numbers in the kidnap incident.
Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar said that the police have seized cell phones, cars with fake number plates. "Based on evidence, Akhila Priya was named as A-1. All the towers locations from Hyderabad and Vijayawada were traced and it was found out that Bhargav Ram had been in touch with one Guntur Srinu who also contacted Akhila Priya on her private number. Around 49 calls have been identified between Akhila Priya and Srinu and 28 calls between Srinu and another man," the CP said.
The CP said that Bhargav Ram has also had his involvement in the case. The accused purchased the six SIM cards on the names of Mallikarjun Reddy and Madala Srinu at Miyapur.
"Akhila Priya has been remanded to three-day judicial custody and complete details will be announced after the period," Anjani Kumar added.
Besides Akhila Priya, the other persons involved in the case are Bhargav Ram (Nandyala), Sampath Kumar (Allagadda) Madala Srinu (Guntur), Mallikarjun Reddy (Ananthapur), Balu (Kadapa), Krishna (Guntur), Deva Prasad (Guntur), Vamsi (Guntur), Siddhartha (Guntur).
