17 youth from a small village selected for constable posts in Khammam
Khammam: Mallaram village in Tallada mandal of Khammam district was jubilant after a total of 17 youngsters got selected for Constable posts in the recently released list of selected candidates by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB).
Majority of the candidates who came from poor financial background expressed happiness. "I came from a financially poor family, yet my parents encouraged me to study well and get a government job to settle in the life," said K Venkateswarlu, one of the selected candidates said. He is the first member of his family who acquired a government job.
T Nagesh of the village said the TRS government has been doing justice to the youth in the State by ensuring jobs. He said he will be preparing for SI jobs as he wants to be in a better position in the department. According to him it is for the second time that as many as 17 youths from Mallaram village secured Constable jobs.
In 2015 selections, a total of 17 candidates got selected as Constables. They are our inspiration and they also helped us in preparing for the tests and their support proved helpful, he added.
M Saidulu of the village also thanks his seniors for their guidance and support in preparing for the test. "Thanks to Telangana government, the selection process is totally fair, and it helped the village youth secure government jobs," he said.
The youths in the village are confident that in the next job selections of police department there will be as many as 20 Constables selected from the village.
