16-year-old girl goes missing in Hyderabad

A Class 10 student has gone missing from her house in Mallapur in Nacharam on Tuesday. The incident came to light on Wednesday when they approached the police and filed a complaint.

The parents of the girl, who was pursuing Class 10 in a private school in Nacharam noticed that their daughter was not at home and searched for her at many places. After they failed to trace her, they lodged a complaint with the police.

The Nacharam police who registered a case have launched an investigation. Efforts are on to trace the girl. CCTV footage in nearby areas is also being examined.

In a similar case, a 35-year-old woman went missing from her house in Gachibowli. However, the police traced her in Pune, 20 days after registering a missing complaint. The woman who works in a software firm in Hyderabad was reportedly staying there to avoid all connections with her husband and family due to personal issues.
