DPS Nacharam clinch gold in national shooting championship

Hyderabad: DPS Nacharam wins gold again in DPS Society National Shooting Championship Girls (OPEN) 2019, which was held at DPS RAU Indore, Madhya Pradesh from August 11 to 12.

The girls team from DPS Nacharam comprising of Konasani Geethika, Gangam Sahasra, Konasani Soumya and Bhandharam Sri Laxmi grabbed gold medal in 10m Rifle Team event while Konasani Geethika also settled for a bronze medal in Individual 10m Rifle event after finishing third.

The Chief Guest for the championship Saini, Director Sports DPSS, appreciated the DPS Nacharam Team and chairman Komaraiah for encouraging and providing the required facilities at school for girls to participate in shooting event, a press release said.

Sunitha Rao, Principal, congratulated the students on their achievement for the second consecutive year.
