Croatian coach holds fort at HPRC

Hyderabad: The tennis courts at Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club (HPRC) in Aziz Nagar saw hectic activity on Sunday, thanks to the mentorship of international A- level ATP Certified coach Duje Tomasovic, also Director of Tenis Klub Split in Croatia.

To the awe-struck young aspirants, who made it to the venue for the one-day exclusive clinic, it was a class that was worth millions as they could get tips from a master, who has consistently produced amazing talent in Europe.

The clinic, conducted by Academia Sports Village, is incidentally a prelude to the bigger event that is lined up for March-end to mid-April.

The fortnight-long camp will be sponsored by real estate major Status One Project. Trainees in the high-voltage international summer tennis camp-2020 will be mentored by Duje Tomasovic.

Given his penchant for produce complete prospects, there will be an equal importance on physical conditioning.

This will be spearheaded by eminent physical conditioning expert Robert Hrvoje Condic during his High-Intensity Plyometric Training camp.

On Sunday, the youngsters got a feel of the global standards and were delighted at the end of the session.
