Girls' education, need of the hour

This is with regards to how our present society is becoming hypocrite day by day. Even today there are many homes that do not allow their children, mostly girls, for further studies, quoting "degree is enough and if you want to study further, then study after marriage". I strongly believe that one should not study just for acquiring degrees but to acquire knowledge which makes them stable in life and a responsible and rational human being. 

Moreover, higher education in girls paves way for respect of that particular individual, self-confidence and self-worth. It boosts their knowledge which is not just limited to a household's kitchen but much more. So, I request every household to make their children study the very best so that they can do many things later in life. They need not be dependent on someone but themselves and lead a successful life and move in societies with their heads held high.
