Hyderabad is lucky for me: Taapsee Paanu
Ethnic wear is something that is loved and worn by every Indian. The charm that is seen in an ethnic outfit cannot be seen in any other outfit. Be it a simple Kurti or a traditional Anarkali one can steal the show for the day with ethnic. Ethnic wear is not something that has to always be grand and bright. Simple and light colouredkurti’s with layered frills gives the outfit a classy look. These days designers make themmore comfortable and simpler, and the outfits get a western twist too.
High on the success of her recent Hindi film release ‘Manmarziyaan’, TaapseePaanu shares, “I identify myself as an average Indian girl and I love to wear our Indian clothes. But when it comes to Indian clothes it becomes an elaborate thing and one cannot wear it every day. But when Melange came with the whole concept of ‘rethink ethnic’, I felt it is nice way where one can reboundto being Indianised, while it gives a feeling of comfort when you wear them.”
“I think I love wearing cotton stuff and love layering my clothes a lot. You will mostly find me wearing them,” she adds.
