The dances of the two states

  As part of Sunday cultural programs at Shiparamam, Mohiniattam and Kathak dance shows enthralled the audience.

Dr Sampreetha Kesavan and Vineetha Santhosh captivated audience with their Mohiniyattam dance performance. They presented the dance on ‘Chitrankam’, ‘Ganesha Sthuthi’, Paripahi Ganeshadhipa, Varnam, Keerthanam and Kavalipattu.

Later, the Kathak dance performance by the disciples of Kathak Kalakshetra’s Dr Chandratapa Saharoy presented ‘Ganesh Sthuthi’, ‘Saraswathi Sthuthi’, ‘Vishnu Sthuthi’, ‘Thummari’, ‘Teen Tal’, ‘Keerthana’, Shivasthuthi and others presented.
