81.53 crore budget for basti relocation

Hastinapuram: Corporator Ramavath Padma Srinu Naik received Rs 81.53 crore budget allocation papers from DRDL scientist SS Panwar, DRDL Director Bhaskar Reddy and Administrative Officer Chaman Singh Rana at Kanchanbagh on Wednesday. The funds were allocated to shift Roshan Doula Basti in the division.

 Later, she met Medchal MLA CH Malla Reddy and thanked him for his support in shifting the basti. She appealed to the colony residents to unanimously take resolution in handing over the colony land to the defence officials. The colony residents said that the 30-year-old problem was resolved due to the efforts of Malla Reddy and the corporator. They said that both the leaders met central ministers Nirmala Sitaraman and Arun Jaitley many times in New Delhi.
