Collector holds review meet on panchayat polls

Siddipet: Collector Krishna Bhasker on Tuesday held a review meeting with officials in view of ensuing second phase panchayat elections that are going to be held in 1,592 polling stations of 191 Gram Panchayats here.

Addressing the officials, he called upon the officials to take necessary measures in all polling stations for the peaceful conduct of elections. He congratulated them on successful completion of first phase of polls.

 He inspected polling accessories, ballot papers and boxes and directed the officials regarding the transport of the same to polling stations.JC Padmakar, DRO Chandrashekar, DPO Suresh Babu and other officials were present in the meeting.
