Hyderabad police to initiate steps to curb offences
Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Monday conducted a day long workshop regarding Action plan-2019 policing at Visweswaraiah Bhavan in Khairtabad. More than 500 officers of all ranks including SIs, Inspectors, ACPs, DCPs and all senior officers belongs to five zones of the Commissionerate participated in the workshop.
Speaking with media after the work shop, CP Anjani Kumar said to create better sense of safety and security to public and to make policing more citizen friendly steps will be taken, and the hope, aspirations and desires of the people will be fulfilled. He said more initiatives will be taken this year to reduce the bodily offences and cybercrimes to create an environment to the investors and businessman and see that more and more investment comes to the city.
To achieve the goals, action will be taken in every field more effectively. To get a complete understanding on cybercrimes and to tackle them effectively a basic training will be provided to SIs, CIs and officers at each police station limits for first three months of the year and to bring down the cybercrimes modern equipment’s will be provided including the lab facilities. He also said that to address the traffic challenges in the city a collective effort will be made with R&B, GHMC and Metro Water Works.
