Process commences for cooperative society elections

 Medchal: District Cooperative Officer N Srinivas Rao on Thursday announced the schedule for display of voter lists and submission of proposals for cooperative society elections. As part of the schedule, nine primary agriculture cooperative societies (PACS) or Rythu Seva cooperative societies will prepare their voter lists and display them on the notice boards on their office premises on December 14. 

The voters who have objections on the list can contact respective chief executive officers of the coop societies.  The managing committees of the societies would publish the voter lists on December 22 and would submit it to the registrar for his approval on December 23. 

The voter lists would be approved by the registrar on December 28, and the final list would be submitted to the election authority on December 30.
