LB Nagar Constituency Perala Shekar vows Kalakshetram

LB Nagar: As the elections are fast approaching within hours, BJP candidate Perala Shekar Rao has come out with a series of promises in a press conference held at party Mansoorabad office on Monday. He assured to build a ‘Kalakshetram’ with Central funds in the name of late former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, which would be on a par with Ravindra Bharathi. 

The other promises include: basic facilities in 40 slums; protection of private and government lands from encroachments; houses to the poor within three years under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana; Rs 5,000 per month to the tenants who don’t have own houses; Rs 5 lakh interest-free loan to the Women Self Help Groups; Jobs and financial assistance to the family members of Telangana Martyrs; free dialysis and medicines at low prices in hospitals; LPG supply to each household through pipeline;  expansion of Metro rail in Nagole – LB Nagar – outer ring road route; special GO to solve quota problem in allotting houses; reduction of house taxes; basic facilities at government educational institutions; modernisation of Vanasthalipuram Area Hospital with emergency services; Establishment of job assistance centre at skill development centre for the unemployed youth; transport facility to colonies with mini buses; basic facilities at play grounds; special plan for the comprehensive development of slums; basic facilities at burial grounds; development of HUDA open air auditorium; construction of mini function halls in government lands; beautification of tanks; construction of reservoir and establishment of a comprehensive drainage system.
