Today is last date to file Haj forms online

##BIG-IMAGE#Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee, Special Officer, Prof SA Shukoor said for the Haj 2019 the deadline for filing Haj application online ends on November 17. This year the Haj Committee of India (HCI) has announced provision of Online Haj Application forms. A total of 7,800 applications have been received in which 275 applicants are of 70 years and above are of reserved category.

Applicants of 70 years or above would be selected along with a companion of blood relation without Qurrah (Draw of Lots) and they should submit their valid machine-readable international passports, Prof Shukoor said. Four to five women above 45 years of age can submit the applications without Mehram (male companion). This year five applicants could file their applications in a single cover and they all should possess valid machine-readable international passports issued before November 17, 2018 and valid till January 31, 2020. 

The Haj application forms could be filled up and submitted on the website www.hajcommittee.gov.in and a hard copy along with necessary documents like a copy of the passport, cancelled cheque, a colour passport size photograph and details of nominees should be submitted in the office of the Telangana State Haj Committee.
