Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis reviews poll arrangements

Siddipet: Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis on Thursday said that they seized Rs 23,17,306 in cash during vehicles inspections as part of maintaining election code in Siddipet constituency so far. He reviewed election arrangements with officials in the constituency. He asked them to respond to the complaints made by people through c-VIGIL App, with immediate effect. 

The other instructions given by the CP in the meet were: complete awareness on route mobiles and polling booths; regular visit to villages and create awareness against right to among villagers; vigil on trouble mongers of last elections; steps to ensure polling in peaceful atmosphere; avert illegal transportation of liquor and sales in coordination with excise staff and police staff at border check posts. 

Siddipet ACP Rameshwar, ACP-special branch Ravinder Raju, CIs Nandishwar Reddy, Anjaneyulu and Venkatramaiah, Inspector-election cell Janaiah, Inspector- SB Nagaiah, SIs Koteswara Rao, Madhusudan Reddy, Ashok, Abilash, Kanakaiah and Sambaiah were present.
