Warangal: For decades, injustice is being done to Arya Vysyas politically, Prem Gandhi, the National President of the Arya-Vysya Chaitanya Porata Samithi (ACPS) said.

In a statement released here on Monday, he said “The phenomenon is same with all the political parties who continue to suppress the Arya Vysyas. Despite repeated representations, no political party is ready to empower the community politically”.

Even though Dr BR Ambedkar said that equal participation of all castes and communities strengthen the democracy, a little is being done by the political parties who only want to use Arya Vysyas as vote bank, he said.

“To fight against this discrimination, the ACPS is fielding its candidates as independents in 30 Assembly constituencies,” Prem Gandhi said. Chiduralla Rajanna will be our candidate in the fray from Warangal West, he added.

Our agenda is to provide free education, healthcare and 100 units of electricity to all those come under below poverty line. ACPS is committed to provide 33 per cent reservations to women in politics. Old-age pension of Rs 3,000 a month, double bedroom houses to poor etc are the agenda of the ACPS, he said.
