Strive for party victory, Patil appeals to TRS workers

Jogipet: Zaheerabad MP BB Patil appealed people to vote for TRS in the forthcoming elections. He was speaking at TRS party workers meeting held here on Thursday. TRS has initiated several welfare schemes for rural development and the state government has spent Rs 125 crores for the welfare of farmers, minorities and other backward people, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Chanti Kranthi Kiran, TRS candidate, said that the former MLA Babu Mohan is engaging in false propaganda against TRS after not getting ticket from the party. Disappointed after not getting party ticket, Babu Mohan has colluded with Damodhar Rajnarsimha and is criticizing the schemes initiated by TRS government, he alleged. He further alleged that Congress and BJP parties have complained to EC against the distribution of Bathukamma sarees and Raithu Bandhu cheques.
 
Among those present at the meeting include Jogipet market committee chairman DB Nagabhushanam, Vattipally market committee chairman Khamroddin, councilors of Andhole-Jogipet municipality A Lakshman, Srikanth, G Gopal, Naveen, former president of Alladurgam MPP Kashinath, DCCB vice chairman Jaipal Reddy and others.
