TJS student wing protests Miryalaguda honour killing

Dundigal: Activists of the Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) student wing on Thursday staged a demonstration at Dr B R Ambedkar‘s statue at Gagilapur Crossroads to protest the ‘houour killing’ of Pranay in Miryalaguda. Wing president Rajesh Naik led the demo. 

Addressing the participants, Naik demanded stringent action against those involved in the killing as also Manohara Chary, who attacked a couple in Erragadda on Wednesday. He wanted a judicial inquiry into the incident.

Naik, while pledging support to the Miryalaguda victim Amruta Varshini, stated that the student wing would continue its agitation until the attackers in the two incidents were given stringent punishment. Among those who took part in the protest were mandal president Vijay, vice-president Ranga Naik, coordinator Abhilash Reddy, Chandu, Venu.
