Bhupalpally: Hyderabad-based NGO, People Helping Children (PHC) distributed books and stationery to the children of farmers and daily labourers of Palimala and Lenkagadda villages in Mahadevpur mandal of Bhupalpally district on Saturday.

A team led by Chesantu, founder of PHC, had distributed 1,300 notebooks, 700 pencils, 500 pens, 70 sharpeners, 70 erasers, 70 table books, and 50 rhymes books. Nothing could have been possible without my team and the donors, who went out of the way to help us complete this mission, Chesantu said. Social media was a great help to get donors and spread awareness, he added.

PHC has been helping the needy for the past one year and reaching out students in Hyderabad and on the outskirts by sponsoring their education, food and by spending quality time with children from different orphanages. They also helped cancer patients, distributed sanitary napkins to the girls in villages, supplied monthly groceries to orphanages.
