Prepare proposals to replace RCC with HDP pipes

Karimnagar: Finance Minister Eatala Rajender ordered the Municipal Commissioner to prepare proposals to replace the existing RCC pipe lines of drinking water with HDP pipe lines under Karimnagar Municipal Corporation.

The Minister held a review meeting with MPs, MLAs, Collectors, city Mayor, Municipal Chairman and Karimnagar Municipal Commissioner to discuss about the development works in the united Karimnagar district, here at the collectorate conference hall on Monday.

Minister Rajender said the government is determined to supply pure drinking water through Mission Bhagiratha project to people living in all villages and cities. As part of that, HDP pipes were laid for supplying pure drinking water to all wards and divisions present in the municipality. 

He also ordered the commissioners, chairmen and engineers concerned to inspect the development works in their municipalities and ensure quality works.

The Minister ordered the engineers to complete the construction works of double bedroom houses, sanctioned for the united Karimnagar district, before December, by employing additional labour, engineers and extra materials, if required.

The Finance minister said that cheques will be issued directly to the beneficiaries belonging to SC, BC and minorities without linking with the bankers under self-employment scheme.

After identifying the beneficiaries under Municipal limits, cheques worth Rs 50,000 will be issued directly to the beneficiaries for establishing small scale industries so that they will not face any problems.

Speaking about Haritha Haram project, Rajender said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is very keen about the successful implementation of the prestigious scheme. It is the responsibility of every official to protect the saplings that were planted under the green drive.

The Minister ordered the Commissioner to take necessary steps to keep the surroundings clean and neat under municipal limits to prevent the spread of seasonal diseases like dengue and malaria during the rainy season.

Government chief whip Koppula Eshwar, assembly council chief whip Paturi Sudhakar, collectors Sarfaraz Ahmed (Karimnagar), Devasena (Peddapalli) and D Krishna Baskar (Rajanna Sircilla), government advisory member Vivek, MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, mayors Sardar Ravinder Singh (Karimnagar) and Lakshminarayana (Ramagundam), finance department chairman Rajesham Goud, IDC chairman Eda Shankar Reddy, 
minority corporation chairman Hussain, Karimnagar commissioner Shashank and other municipality chairmen were present in the meeting.
