MWC 2019: HTC 5G home hub brings superfast internet

 With the launch of a new smart home hub, HTC is helping users get ready for 5G, which could help to get rid of the hassle good connectivity. 

Today at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, the HTC revealed its 5G Hub which will act as a central portal for all your devices to get the superfast next-generation 5G networks.

Manufactured with both work and play in mind, the hub will help to reduce the hassle of getting better connectivity at all your devices online, no get ready to say goodbye to unnecessary wires and extension leads cluttering up your home and office.

It will replace the existing home routers, now users can monitor their data usage and speed of their connections through a 5in HD screen, and the hub can even be disconnected to keep you connected.

The hub is able to stream 4K videos to a second screen with no drop-off in quality. Credit goes to its high-speed connectivity.  

For up to 20 users it can also act as a mobile hotspot that means multiple devices can get connected, making it the perfect gaming companion - mainly if you got your hands on HTC's Vive VR headset.

HTC has already signed up a number of major operators around the world to support the new hub, including EE and Three in the UK and Deutsche Telekom, with many on the way. 

In the next few months the HTC 5G Hub will go on sale through selected retailers, however, the price is not disclosed yet.
