Kolkata: Former Indian skipper and president of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Sourav Ganguly said on Saturday that they would soon take a call on whether to remove the portraits of Imran Khan from the CAB office or not.

The statement came after some members of BJP’s youth wing on Saturday protested outside the Eden Gardens and demanded the removal of photographs of Pakistani cricketer, including Imran Khan, from the stadium’s gallery in the wake of Pulwama terror attack.

“We will take a call, very soon,” Ganguly told ANI.

Pictures of Imran Khan and other Pakistani cricketers were removed from many stadiums in India after the deadly terror attack on CRPF convoy in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on February 14 in which as many as 40 jawans were killed.

Pakistan based terror group, Jaish-e-Mohammed, claimed the responsibility for the attack.
