Congress should accept defeat

Update: 2018-12-14 05:30 IST

It is ironical that some Congress leaders are alleging that the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) have been tampered, after facing colossal defeat in the just concluded elections to the Telangana Assembly. When the electorate has given absolute majority to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), apparently greatly impressed by its myriad welfare measures, the losers are trying to make allegations against the TRS and its leaders. It is high time that the Congress and its allies realise and admit that people have outrightly rejected those corrupt parties and leaders. EVMs cannot be tampered by anybody, including the ruling TRS. It is a known fact that the EVM tampering is absolutely zero as there is no chance of tampering EVM.

All the guidelines had been followed by the Election Commission of India right from the mock polling till the EVMs machines in strong room (which includes both used and non-used EVMs separately) as rightly stated by the Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar. The allegations made by some political parties that 26 lakh voters names had been removed from the voters’ list are also baseless.
