Implement SC verdict on Sabarimala

Update: 2018-11-26 14:34 IST

The raging issue of Sabarimala is a classic example of how Hindu fundamentalists want to suppress the rights of women in all aspects. It is matter of personal faith when it comes to worship of deities.

When the highest seat of justice in the country passed the judgment allowing woman of all ages to go to the renowned hill shrine Sabarimala, the dutiful citizens should abide by it.

Instead of respecting the court of law, a section of Hindu fanatics is resorting to violence and other tactics to prevent women from going to Sabarimala. No woman is impure during menstruation. They have been forced to believe so by the same agents of bigotry.

The Kerala government and the police should act strictly and implement the Supreme Court verdict and put all those anti-social elements who are making a hue and cry to prevent women from entering Sabarimala behind bars. God is nobody’s private property.
