Yet again, dance maestro Sandip Soparrkar dressed in his favorite designer Deepak Shah cloths, looked in great spirits as he hosted the press conference to announce dance associates, NGO tie up and dynamic jury of Phoenix Marketcity presents \"India Dance Week\".

The stars together also unveiled the trophy and the logo of this prestigious dance festival which is in its 3rd year now at the European themed courtyard space, Dublin Square, Phoenix Marketcity.
"India Dance Week’ is the first ever two day dance festival celebrated on International Dance Day in India (29-30th April), where varied dance forms be it Indian or International classical, Indian or international folk, Ballroom, Hip Hop or contemporary all come together on one single platform. The day two is the mega competition day where participants come from different parts of the country and perform on varied dance styles.
Sandip Soparrkar hosted the introduction ceremony of this unique dance fest at the Dublin Square, Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla which was attended by the esteemed jury consisting of Actor Rahul Roy, actor Gaurav Gera, actress Avika Gor, singer actress Sanober Kabir and Japanese dancer Ryoko De.
Dance Maestro also introduced Roadies Fame actor Raj Kumar Singh and actor Ssumier Pasricha as the hosts for "3rd India Dance Week". Sandip happily announced tie ups with two NGO's - Advitya foundation and PETA India. Actor Amit Dolawat and Actress Sharbani Mukherjee represented as the Voice of the NGO's respectively.
The evening started with enthusiastic Indian classical and folk dance performances from Uma Rele’s ‘Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya’ followed by ballerinas from Villoo Bharucha's School of Ballet. Brian Fernandes' troupe performed hip hop and street dances and Sandip Soparrkar's Ballroom Studio presented some Classic Ballroom dances. At the launch meet Advitya children dance and so did dancers dressed as elephant and tiger supporting PETA.
The dynamic jury unveiled the trophy, cut the traditional cake, and looked very cheery and upbeat while performing impromptu dance moves on stage on Om Shanti Om title track.
Speaking on the occasion choreographer Sandip Soparrkar said, “I am thankful to Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla for hosting the 3rd year of this unique dance festival. This is one fest that brings all types of dances and dancers together and bonds them in one single thread."
The "3rd India Dance Week" has begun with a call for registrations and auditions for dance enthusiasts across the country with no age bar. So anyone and everyone who is a dance lover can apply for the grand competition. Mr. Rajendra Kalkar, President (West) of Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla said "We are glad that India Dance Week is growing year after year, we have already received applications from all over the country in just two days of the announcement. Keeping in mind the talent what's showing up we are sure that Sandip Soparrkar and the jury will have a great time choosing the winner."
