Jayaram murder case transferred to Hyderabad City Police
Hyderabad: The murder case of Chigurupati Jayram has been transferred to Hyderabad City Police.
It was on February 1 when Pitchaiah Chowdary, father in law of the deceased Chigurupati Jayram, lodged a complaint at Nandigama Police Station, Krishna District, A.P., stating that his son-in-law was found died at Itavaram Village, NH-65 under Nandigama PS limits and he suspected that some unknown persons has murdered him. A case in Cr.No.46/19 u/s 419, 342, 346,348,384,302,201,202 r/w 34 IPC of Nandigama PS Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh State was registered at Nandigama Police Station and was investigated partially.
Two persons were arrested in this case namely Rakesh Reddy and Srinivas and as per their confession the place of offence falls under Jubilee Hills PS limits.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar informed that the case file was received by a special messenger at his office today for further investigation on point of jurisdiction. "We will verify the documents and other attachments and re-register the case at Jubilee Hills Police Station for further investigation. In this case the ACP Banjara Hills is appointed as investigating officer," he informed.
