TDP MLA Jaleel Khan's daughter to contest from Vijayawada West

Amaravati: Vijayawada West MLA Jaleel Khan's daughter Shabana Khatur joins Telugu Desam party. On Tuesday along with her father Jaleel Khan she met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati.

Speaking to media MLA Jaleel Khan said that Naidu has confirmed the name of his daughter as the TDP MLA candidate from Vijayawada West Assembly constituency in coming elections.

Khan expressed confidence that they will win Vijayawada West Assembly seat and gift it to CM as a present. MLA also said that he is not taking retirement from politics, but he will continue to render his services to the party.

If needed Khan is ready to contest on BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana in Guntur.

Shabana Khatur said that she is a big fan of CM Chandrababu Naidu from her college days. Shabana had also worked as TDP Coordinator in Virginia, US. 

Now her family is moved to Andhra Pradesh from the US, and she is here to contribute her part in the development of the state. She clarified that very soon they will start the campaign in the Vijayawada West Assembly constituency.
