HC pulls up at the government for not implementing its own circular
BENGALURU: On Friday the high court had pulled up the government as it had failed to implement its own circular that was issued on the 13th of April 2015, which had the requirement of putting up display boards that would be indicating the particulars like fee structure in private schools.
A division bench which was headed by the chief justice Dinesh Maheshwari was wondering for himself that how the government was unable to implement its own circular. This happened after the government advocate had said that so far, only 16,739 schools have complied with the circular and 2,129 are yet to do so. The bench rejected the plea to grant time till February, and posted the PIL which was filed by the advocate NP Amrutesh to January 23.
The HC had indicated that if the complete compliance of the requirements by all the district deputy directors is not stated by the next given date, the commissioner of the department of public instruction will have to appear before the court.
