Stringent Traffic Rules On Tirumala Ghat Road

Police enforced strict traffic rules on the first and second ghat road connecting Tirupati and temple town Tirumala. From now onwards, two and four wheeler drivers will have to produce at least one among seven important documents during the travel. The documents includes Insurance,  Driving license , helmet and seat belt also. 

With an aim to reduce the growing number vehicular accidents, police said new rules were imposed strictly.  Those who failed to produce at least one document at Alipiri check post,  they will not be allowed to travel on the ghat road. People are demanding the new rules should also be applied to police,  TTD and contract vehicles plying on the ghat road.
