Hyderabad police bust gang cloning fingerprints of college faculty

The city police on Wednesday busted a three-member gang for cloning finger prints of college faculty here in Hyderabad. 

Of the three, the police arrested the two -- Poreddy Sudershan Reddy, vice principal and Bomma Ramakrishna, associate professor of Vivekananda Group of Institutions and are on search of another accused Gopal Reddy who went absconding.

According to the police, the gang would illegally prepare and sell the cloned finger prints of faculty of various institutions showing false attendance to JNTU officials and cheating them to earn money.

After the arrest, the police seized Rs 3 lakh cash, a biometric machine, a glue gun, glue sticks, 60 cloned finger prints of faculty.
