CM Chandrababu Naidu to set foundation stone for Godavari-Penna interlinking scheme at a cost of Rs.6000 crore on Nov.26

- Devineni Uma, Kodela reviewed arrangements at Nakirikallu 

Guntur:Assembly Speaker Dr.Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, Minister for Water Resources DevineniUma Maheswara Rao on Tuesday reviewed arrangements for laying foundation stone programme for interlinking of Godavari and Penna rivers and construction of pump house at a cost of Rs. 6000 crore for which Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu will set the foundation stone on November 26 at Nakirikallu under Sattenapalli Assembly constituency  in Guntur district. 

Water will be lifted from Krishna river at Harichandrapuram to Nakirikallu pump house. in Guntur district. From Nakirikallu water will be supplied to Nagarjunasagar right canal ayacut area of Guntur and Prakasam districts. The farmers in Darsi, Addanki and Darsi areas will get drinking and irrigation  water. After reviewing arrangements, they given suggestions to the engineering officials.
