Proddaturu police busted inter state offender

Kadapa: Proddaturu police have arrested a inter state offender Venkateswara Swamy temple near Bollavaram area while performing inspections  and recovered Rs 13lakhs worth 365 grams gold ornaments, 2.50 kgs Silver, a Camera which is utilized under Locked House Monitoring System(LHMS) by police, Rs 30,000 cash from him on Saturday.

The accused have been identified as Mohammadh Hussain alias SK Jabir of Palamaneru town of Chittor District. Addressing press conference at Proddaturu DSP K.Srinivasulu said that on 5-11-2018 B.Anthony of Proddaturu town appealed the police to set up LHMS camera to his house as leaving to Bangalore along with his family members.

Following his request police fixed LHMS at his house around 9.PM as the inmates left for Bangalore. On 11-11-2018 around 1.40AM the accused gain entry of the house by breaking the front door, and decamped with gold, silver, cash including LHMS camera which was installed at the house.

The victim who returned from Bangalore on 13-11-2018 noticed the incident as he lodged complaint with the police. However police able to identified the accused of indulging in the crime through live cameras installed at Command Control Center (CCC) despite he stolen away the LHMS camera.

Police launched manhunt to nab the accused as they arested hims while wandering under suspicious circumstances at Bollavaram area in the town wee hours on Saturday. The DSP said originally the accused belongs to Janagama town of Warangal district, as he migrated to Chittor district as he was indulged several crimes in Telangana state.  The DSP lauded Proddaturu CI Jayanaik , SI Krishnam Raju naik and his men of their initiation in nabbing the culprit.
