EC issues notification for Telangana Assembly polls

Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India on Monday issued notification for the conduct of general elections to the Telangana State Legislative Assembly.
 
As per the notification, last date for submission of nominations will be November 19 and they would be scrutinised on November 20. The last date for withdraw of nominations is November 22. Polling will be held on December 7 and the entire election process will be completed by December 13. The results will be declared on December 11.
 
The poll timings will be from 7 AM to 5 PM for 106 constituencies, the timing will be from 7 AM to 4 PM in remaining 13 constituencies. They are Sirpur, Chennur, Bellampalli, Mancherial, Asifabad, Manthani, Bhupalpalle, Mulug, Pinapaka, Yellandu, Kothagudem, Aswaraopeta and Bhadrachalam.
