Symbiosis law student lodges complaint against Dean for rusticating her after MeToo post

The Symbiosis law student Apoorva who has been rusticated from college as well as from hostel lodged a complaint against the dean Shashikala Gurpur for forceful eviction and compelling to remove the Facebook post against assistant professor Srinivas Methuku.

YK Apoorva and Snigdha had complained to Minister of Women and Child Development and Ministry of Human Rights Development about the sexual harassment being faced by the students in the college. Following the complaint, an investigation was launched by Internal Complaints Committee on May 3 which stated that the allegations are not true. 

Fumed over the false report of the investigation, Apoorva shared a post on Facebook alleging harassment being faced by the students in the college along with an Instagram screenshot on October 10. 

Even the students' affairs head Puja Malhan went against the Facebook post and demanded Apoorva to remove the post and apologize the professor.
