Telangana: Elderly couple killed in Kothagudem

Telangana: An elderly couple was brutally killed by unidentified assailants in wee hours of Tuesday at Charla in Kothagudem.

Going into details, the couple Ponnam Chukkaiah (65) and his wife Yellamma (55) were attacked by the assailants with axes while sleeping outside their home.

The couple had five sons. Of the five, two of them died sometime back.

The police registered a case and the investigation is underway.
