Bhongir Transco Sub-Divisional Engineer in ACB trap

Yadadri- Bhongir: Anti-corruption police on Wednesday claimed to have trapped Divisional Engineer of Transco red- handed while accepting bribe of Rs 50,000 from contractor. Bhongir Divisional Engineer Durga Rao, the ACB officials said, was arrested.

The officials claimed to have caught him red-handed while he accepting the bribe at his residence at Karmanghat in Hyderabad. The officials said Durga Rao demanded Rs 50,000 from a contractor, identified as Bhaskar, to clear his bills.
