Minister participates in Bakrid celebrations

Tandur: Muslims celebrated Bakrid with religious fervour in town on Wednesday. They offered special prayers at masjids and greeted each other. 

Minister Mahender Reddy, Congress party leaders M Ramesh, Dr Sampath Kumar, TDP leaders Raju Goud, TRS counsellor Narsimhulu took part. Minister said that festivals mark unity in society. He explained various development programmes and welfare schemes initiated by State government for minorities.
