Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin reviews arrangements for Urs at Yousufain Dargah
The 3-day Urs festivities will begin from Friday
Hyderabad: Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin on Tuesday made a visit to Yousufain Dargah in Nampally for reviewing arrangements for the upcoming Urs festivities beginning from August 17.
He along with officials reviewed the arrangements as huge flow of devout would visit in the three days beginning from Friday.
During the visit he held meeting with the officials and asked them to ensure that all arrangements were in place for the Urs.
The Deputy Mayor along with Goshamahal corporator Mukesh Singh and others took part in the special prayers.
Later speaking to media persons, Fasiuddin said that acting upon the instructions of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao he undertook the exercise and assured that the festivities would be hassle-free to the devotees coming across not only from the City but also from other districts.
He said that the department including GHMC and TS Wakf Board would be making all necessary arrangements including mobile toilets, drinking water facility, provision of parking space and lighting arrangements for the pilgrims to ensure hassle-free festivities.
He said that for ensuring continuous power supply even generators would be provided by the concerned department during these three days.
