State Govt. keen on welfare of all, says Nayani Narsimha Reddy
Musheerabad: Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy on Tuesday asserted that the State government was striving for the welfare of all sections of society.
Speaking after distributing cheques releasing funds for the Bonalu festival by the government in this constituency, along with local MLA Dr K Laxman and TRS BC Cell president Muta Gopal, he stated that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao increased funds for the Bonalu festival to Rs.15 crore, after being requested that Rs.10 crore, sanctioned earlier, was insufficient.
Reddy stated that the government was offering assistance to all communities for celebrating festivals like Ramzan, Christmas and Dasara.
Dr Laxman, while pointing out that like residents of localities had celebrated the Bonalu festival in a peaceful manner they should strive for achieving development of all areas.
He said those who did not receive the cheques could consult him for approaching the Endowments department to secure them.
Among those present were TRS leaders Jayaram Reddy, Haribabu Yadav, Srinivas, R Mallesh, Sirigiri Syam and the department officials.
