108 staff protests with black badges

​Maheshwaram: 108 Ambulance staff of the mandal registered their protest with black badges on Tuesday. According to the three-day protest call given by the state committee from August 7 to 9, they took part. 

The demands including, recognition of 108 staff on par with contract/outsourcing employees of various agencies under Medical and Health department, abolition of 12-hour work schedule and implementation of 8-hour work schedule, payment of salaries according to GOMS Number 3, job security and payment of overtime dues since five years. Staff Bhupathi, Upendra, Gangadhar Shankar, Narsing, Parthasarathi took part.
