Book on songs penned by Dr CNaRe released

Musheerabad: A book, ‘Ekaveera Akbar Salim Anarkali’, comprising songs written by the late Dr C Narayan Reddy was released to mark his 87th jayanti by Vamsi International and Vegesna Foundation at Tyagaraya Ganasabha on Sunday.

Dr  KV Ramana, adviser to State government, who was the chief guest, released the publication in the presence of former MP Yarlagadda Lakshmiprasad, actress Jamuna, writer Parachuri  Gopalakrishna, film director Kodi Ramakrishna, Vamsi Ramaraju, Thenneti Sudadevi, Sunkarapalli Shailaja.

Many speakers lauded Dr Reddy’s literary contributions. They recalled that CNaRe was being remembered for his works during the last one week, indicating his greatness. ‘Everyone should take Dr Reddy as inspiration to move ahead in life’, the speakers stated, adding that he would be alive as long as Telugu alphabets remain. They pointed out that none could repeat the great works and experiments of Dr Reddy.
