Plea to turn Kannada medium schools to Telugu

Nyalakal: Even after formation of Telangana state, Kannada medium high schools are being run in Ratnapur, Kakijanawada, Shapur and many more villages in Sangareddy district, abutting Karnataka. 

This signifies that either the government of undivided AP or Telangana paid little attention to develop remote areas of the state. 

The ruling party goes hammer and tongs stating that it has been fulfilling several assurances that were given at the time of hustings. 

One is at a loss of comprehensive how Kannada medium schools are allowed to run in Telugu state in spite of the ruling party implementing many of its assurances. 

The people of the region on numerous occasions went on record appealing to authorities to convert the Kannada medium schools to that of the Telugu medium for the convenience of their wards, but successive regimes have turned a deaf ear to their pleas. 

Several youth from Ratnagiri like Bandari Gopalakrishna, Ramesh Patil, Janardhan Goud, Arjun Babu, Garib Saab, Shamel and Surender said it was high time the authorities upheld the greatness of Telugu language by converting the Kannada medium schools into Telugu medium schools.
