Men’s Fashion Trends Highlighted in Kingsman: The Secret Service

Fashion conscious viewers are in for a visual treat with Matthew Vaughn’s, Kingsman: The Secret Service, starring Collin Firth and Taron Egerton. It’s a movie that not only reinvigorates the spy genre but also injects new life into the classic British gentleman’s wardrobe.

Mr. Firth plays Harry Hart (code name: Galahad), a member of an elite private team of spies who battle evil (a lisping billionaire played by Samuel L. Jackson) and save the world — all from a secret headquarters at the Kingsman tailor shop, in the cozy confines of Savile Row.

Firth looks his sharpest, clad in a double-breasted pinstripe suit that strikes a perfect balance between old-school cool and modern, sleek elegance.

The boxiness that traditionally comes with a double-breasted jacket is replaced by a more tailored fit in the three-button, peak-lapel number that nips in ever so slightly and makes it a perfect fit on Firth.

It achieves that elusive goal of both well-heeled men and well-trained secret agents: to be singularly outstanding without standing out.
