DST-INSPIRE internship science camp in GITAM

​Visakhapatnam: GITAM Deemed to be University is organising "Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE)" Internship Science Camp from December 12-16 at GITAM Institute of Science, informed by Institute Principal Prof.K. Arunalakshmi here on Friday. 

INSPIRE is an innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India for attraction of talent to Science. The basic objective of INSPIRE is to communicate to the youth of the country the excitements of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the study of science at an early age and thus build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science & Technology system and R & D base.

Lecture sessions along with interactive laboratory sessions are being organised in Life Sciences, Mathematical sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Environmental Sciences. Renowned academicians from premier organisations from all over India are coming to deliver the inspiring lectures to ignite the young minds to motivate towards basic sciences. Free accommodation will be provided to all the out-station participants.
