Regina in bold avatar

After playing a lover girl in hit films like ‘Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham,’ ‘Subramanyam for Sale’ and ‘Power’ Regina donned a a bold role in her latest B-town film  ‘Ek Ladiki Ko Dekha Tho Aisa Laga.’ to prove her versatality. “Playing a lesbian role is a big challenge and Regina has a done good job. Earlier, she used to do glam-centric roles in Telugu and Tamil films but now with her path-breaking role,  she sent her stocks soaring high,” says distributor Bharat Bushan. 

Some time back Shabhana Azmi and Nandita Das set the screen in fire with ‘Fire’ and this time it is Regina and Sonam Kapoor who play a lovable couple in Regina’s maiden B-town outing.  No doubt, Regina will be offered more challenging roles after seeing her realistic performance and bound to give her career a new direction, away from cliched roles in commercial potboilers.
